Satisfies Elements of Culture Requirement "A". A nontechnical course designed with the listener in mind. The course guides the student in approaching classical music of the 16th-20th centuries. Topics include the diversity of musical forms, historical backgrounds, composer biographies, and selected musical examples. 3 s.h.
